Gem. und Weiler der Pfarrei Marly. Die Komturei St. Jean in Freiburg besass in V. ein schönes Gut, das grösstenteils durch die Erwerbungen der Kom ture Peter von Englisherg (1504-1545) und Benedikt Tuller (1546-1573) entstanden war. Die Vuippens, Mossuz und Montenach waren in V. begütert. Dieser Weiler hat immer zur alten Landschaft von Freiburg gehört. Gem ein de satzungen von 1808. Bevölkerung: 1920, 81 Einw. — F.
