Dorf und Gem. Missiacum 1148; Missye 1260. Man fand dort alte Gräber und einen Ring aus vergoldeter, em aillierter Bronze, mit einem eingefassten, ein Pferddarstellenden Stein. Von 1148 an war M. im Besitz des Priorats Payerne, das es durch einen Meyer verw alten liess. Der Herr von Grandcour besass daselbst ebenfalls Herrschaftsrechte. Die alte Kapelle wurde zuerst von Dompierre le Grand, dann von Ressudens aus bedient. — DHV. [M.
