Storia

Gem. und Dorf, durch das eine Römerstrasse, der sog. «chem in de la reine Berthe», geht. Pen to lai 182. Von 1216 an gehörte P. den Herren von Cossonay, in der harnischen Zeit zur Kastlanei Cossonay. Die Kirche St. Martinv. P. wird 1228 erwähnt; der Priorv. Cossonay besass die Kollatur. 1896 wurde eine Freske aus dem 16. Jahrh. aufgedeckt (Christus im Grabe am Fuss des Kreuzes).
